Itinerario

Day 01: City Tour and Campiña Ica (4 Hrs)
Our excursion begins at 9:00 AM, picking up our customers from their hotels by our local guide, afterwards, we will visit the city of Ica, it includes the main square, the church of Lord of Luren, the Regional Museum of Ica, and also we visit the town of witches and the Huacachina Lagoon. Then we will visit the wineries, zone where we will do a nice walking tour exploring with our guide the places where and how this delicious Peruvian drink is made (wine and pisco); we will be able to taste this delicious wines and piscos of the place. Finally, we visit Helena’s Chocolate Industry and know how this delicious chocolate is made too, tasted. Lunch (not included). Afternoon free time, for shopping or personal activities (optional buggy sand boarding).Overnight in Ica at your selected hotel.

Day 02: Ica – Enigmatic Nazca Lines - Lima
After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel in Ica, and then be transferred to the airdrome of Nazca to fly over the Nazca drawings. Prior the flight, you will watch a video film about the Nazca Lines that will allow you get a better understanding of the archaeological zone you are going to see. This interesting documentary lasts about 40 minutes and involves serious information about the Nazca Culture, as well as the figures you will see from the air. For this aerial tour, you will board a small Cessna single-engine aircraft, which has spacious room for 5 people, each person with a window seat. After the video, our English speaking pilot will proceed to give you a briefing about this air tour and also will give each participant a map of the archaeological zone, which shows all the figures you will see from the air. Among the figures, you will see an impressive representation of a monkey, a whale, a spider, a hummingbird, a parrot, a condor, geometrical shapes and hundred of straight lines crisscrossing the Nazca desert. After lunch (no included), we will return back at your selected hotel in Ica.

Day 03: Ballestas Island and Paracas Reserve
Early in the morning and after breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Ica and then transferred to the Paracas harbor, where we will board a speedboat to do our tour to the Ballestas Islands. During our tour to the Islands passengers will see many attractions. Among them, stands out a huge design etched on the slope of hill, known by the local people as The Candelabra. This is an enormous figure that can be seen clearly from the sea. Our local guide will explain the most important theories concerning this drawing. Afterwards, we will continue our excursion around the Ballestas Islands, where you will see hundreds of birds flying, above the Islands, as well as dozens of sea lions on the shore of the beaches, and if you are lucky you also can see the famous Humboldt Penguins and dolphins swimming nearby. It is not allowed to land on the Island, which means you will spend all the tour on the boat. Later on we will take a land excursion towards the Paracas National Park, where we will visit the enormous rock formation known as the Cathedral, the Interpretation Center of Paracas, the Museum Julio. C. Tello and the beautiful beach of Lagunillas, where we will finally have lunch (not included), in a nice restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean. 4:30 PM: You will be transferred to the bus station to take the bus to Lima. (3 hours aprox.). Upon your arrival in Lima you will be picked up at the bus station and then you will be transferred to your hotel in Lima.
